Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 de June de 2026
Sfera Global (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and safeguard your information when you visit sferaglobal.io or contact us, and the rights you have over your data. Because we offer our services to clients in the European Union, we apply the standards of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to that processing.
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
The data controller responsible for your personal data is Sfera Global, with its principal place of business in San José, Costa Rica [registered company name and address to be completed]. For any privacy matter you can reach us at it@sferaglobal.io.
As we are established outside the European Economic Area (EEA) but offer services to individuals in the EEA, where required by Article 27 GDPR we will designate a representative in the EU; their contact details will be published here once appointed.
2. The information we collect
- Information you give us — your name, email address, telephone number, company, country and the content of any message when you use our contact forms, request information, or email us.
- Information we collect automatically — technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
- Information from third parties — limited data from analytics and infrastructure providers that help us run the site securely.
We do not seek to collect special categories of personal data (such as health or political opinions) through this website.
3. How we use your information and our legal bases
Under the GDPR we rely on the following legal bases (Article 6):
- Performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract — to respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request.
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure and improve our website and understand how it is used, in a way that does not override your rights.
- Consent — for non-essential cookies and any marketing communications; you may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to measure performance and, with your consent, for analytics. You can manage your preferences at any time through our cookie banner. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: service providers (processors) who host, secure and analyse our site under written agreements; professional advisers; and public authorities where we are legally required to do so. Processors act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
6. International data transfers
We operate from San José, Costa Rica and use service providers that may be located outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where we transfer personal data of EEA individuals internationally, we put in place appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or a transfer to a country with an adequacy decision. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above: enquiry and contact data for as long as needed to handle your request and our ongoing relationship, and then in line with our retention schedule and any legal obligations. Analytics data is retained for a limited period in aggregated or pseudonymised form.
8. Your data protection rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access your personal data; request correction or erasure; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise any right, email it@sferaglobal.io. If you are in the EEA and believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
9. How we protect your information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and regular review — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and continually improve our safeguards.
10. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites; please review their own privacy notices.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
13. Contact us
